The number one way to reclaim your feminine power postmenopause

Menopause signals a pretty significant ending in women’s lives.  As menstruation and the ability to bear children ceases, there may be a lot of big feelings and a real shift in the way you perceive yourself.

Contrary to the common perception, life offers as many vibrant, amazing opportunities after menopause as any other age and stage!

If you’re not feeling great about life after menopause, there are some things you can do to reclaim your feminine power.

The number one thing to reclaim your feminine power… reframe the experience.  Reframe your idea of femininity, vitality, sexy, savvy, worthy, wild… reframe it.  If you’re stuck in stinking thinking and believe that your life is over and that you are washed up, washed out or somehow less worthy than you were when your womb was fertile, then I challenge you to challenge yourself.

Reframe your menstruation experience.  How was your life when you had your period?  Did you love menstruating or was it painful, inconvenient, uncomfortable, etc?  Did you struggle with fertility?  How can you honor that experience, grieve it and step forward into the wisdom of someone who is capable to birthing anything and everything?

Ask yourself:

  • What did I learn from menstruating?

  • Where do my most fertile thoughts reside now and how can I focus on energy to birth my most productive, incredible, wonderful self?

  • Who are some post menopausal women I admire?

  • What do I admire about them?

  • What are my core strengths now and how can I use them/share them to help myself and others?
